Mikäpaikka@PikkuHuopalahti on esityksellinen kävelykierros, joka tarkastelee kaupunkiympäristöä kehollisista lähtökohdista. Se kutsuu katsojan mukaansa tarkkailemaan julkista tilaa ja paljastaa kaupungin huomaamattomia, mutta keskeisiä kohtia leikkimielisellä otteella. Arkisen katseen alaiset paikat saavat osakseen uusia mielikuvituksellisia, tarinallisia ja visuaalisia merkityksiä fyysisen teatterin lähtökohdista.
Kesän 2023 Mikäpaikka@PikkuHuopalahti-esitys tapahtuu Helsingin Pikku Huopalahdessa. Se on maksuton ja suunnattu kaikenikäiselle ja -taustaiselle yleisölle. Katsojia kierrätetään pienessä ryhmässä ohjatusti ympäri aluetta. Reitti sopii kuljettavaksi myös pyörätuolilla tai lastenvaunujen kanssa. Esitys kestää 1h.

Whatspot is a performative walking tour that looks at the urban cityscapes from a bodily perspective. It invites the audience members to observe public spaces and seeks to reveal the spaces and spots that often go unnoticed in a new light and with a playful touch. The spaces we pass by in our everyday lives get new imaginative, narrative and visual meanings through the means of physical theatre.
Whatspot is free of charge and suitable for all audiences regardless of age or background. The audience members will be toured around the area in a small group and the route is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers/prams. The route is approximately 2km walking and the performance lasts for 1h.
Whatspot is a performance concept by Physical Opera, where the working group approaches a certain area in a city from a performative perspective and creates in there scenes and performative scenarios with physical theatre methods.
